Metadata Extraction

breeze ediscovery softwareBreeze Titan 7.0 native file process includes metadata extraction.  Our electronic discovery software solutions offer Unicode support by default.  Breeze Titan eDiscovery processing also has unlimted recourson ability.  This means that Breeze is able to extract embedded objects and files that are otherwise hidden.  Each of the embedded files are added to the Breeze file and the metadata is extracted as well. All of the metadata Breeze Titan finds is saved into the Breeze.mdb file, the Concordance DAT file and the Summation DII file.

Native to TIF Conversion

Convert Native filesBreeze Titan eDiscovery software offers a solution for converting native files to TIF in batch.  During the TIF conversion process, full text is extracted and saved to the output volume.  Once the native files are converted to TIF, the TIF file reference is add to the Summation DII load file.  Breeze Titan saves a process log for quality control after the TIF conversion is complete. There are three options to convert native files to TIF, (1) Convert Native Files to TIF, (2) TIF from List, and (3) TIF Breeze Volume.

Deduplication

Breeze Titian deduplicates native files either (1) within one data set or (2) across multiple data sets.  During the metadata extraction process, the Breeze Titian electronic discovery software captures the MD5 Hash of each file and saves this information to the Breeze.mdb file.  After this process, Breeze Titian is able to eliminate duplicate files by comparing the MD5 Hash of each file and only keeping the first file.  After duplicates are identified, the duplicate files are removed from the Summation DII load file and the Concordance DAT load file.

Dedupe Option 1 - Create Dedupe Master
DeduplicationDedupe a single data set.  This option will remove duplicates across the  one selected data set.  The “Create Dedupe Master” also designates  the selected volume as the Master Dedupe Database.  Subsequent electronic discovery data sets will be deduped against this database to eliminate duplicate files across multiple data sets.


Dedupe Option 2 - Dedupe Against Master
ediscovery softwareThis option allows the user to eliminate duplicates which exist in a  subsequent data set. Breeze compares electronic discovery data files in the subsequent data set  against the files in the Master Dedupe Database (aka the original data set). When duplicates are found, the dupes are omitted from the updated load files.

Number & eStamp

Bates Stamp NumberOnce the native files have been converted to TIF, you can Bates number and stamp the files using the Number & eStamp option.  This option allows the user to perform quality control on the files by rotating the images, if needed.  Also, this option allows the Breeze eDiscovery Suite user to include certain files in the output, create Summation DII load files, create Concrdance DAT load files, TrialDirector OLL load files, Sanction DII load files, IPRO Viewer load files.  The user can add choose to include metadata in the load files and include the native files in the new output.
