FAQ – Breeze Connector for eCopy

Q: Can I see a demonstration of Load File Connector before I buy it? If so, how?
A: Of course you can. We simply send you a link to join us in online meeting room available through GoToMeeting. This allows you to see our computer from your computer. The meeting room also has conference-call capabilities, so we can walk you through every step. This must be scheduled through the sales department.  Contact us at sales@breezelit.com. We also provide webinares weekly.  If you are a reseller and want to schedule a private webinar for your company contact support at support@breezelit.com.

Q: Can you install the Connector for me?
A: Sure. We’ll install and then test the program for a service fee.

Q: Do you send someone on site to install the Load File Connector?
A: No.  There is really no need.  We will provide a check list for the copy dealers and/or internal IT department to complete prior to the install. Upon completion of the checklist we will create a virtual meeting and install is completed in aproximately 30 min.  Should we login and we find that the check list has not been complete the install may take several hours.

Q: What kind of hardware do I need to run this solution?
A: You need a standard eCopy ScanStation, but for better performance, we recommend increasing the memory to 2GB RAM.

Q: Do I need any additional software to run Load File Connector?
A: Not on the ScanStation. But since our program makes load files for various software databases, like Summation or Concordance, you’ll need the software you plan to manage your images with.  

Q: Why do I have to pay a maintenance fee?
A: It’s really in your best interest. Maintenance includes a one-hour tutorial on how to use the Connector, as well as software updates and technical support when needed.

Q: What kind of technical support can I expect with the maintenance fee?
A: The best, really. See, our relationship with you really begins after you buy the Connector. We're always here to answer your questions by phone or e-mail. If you need to complete a specific task, we’ll schedule a virtual meeting and walk you through your project.
